Similarly, Gilles got appreciation for his humanitarian acts, just a few days ago!
Recently, the actor received an award by the Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund, for his excellent contribution in society.
The award acceptance speech of Gilles was truly remarkable for the attendees. The actor shared that such kind of acts, have given him inner peace.
Afterwards, he shared about the common intentions of all the philanthropists of this world. According to him, a philanthropist never lurks for an award or appreciation, and they make their contribution in society, not for any kind of recognition, but for the love of it.
Above all this, he was completely astonished, when he found himself in the category of appreciation. The award was given to him by the Oscar winning actor, Olympia Dukakis.
Now please don’t ask why he was so surprised.
I guess, this is an essential quality of a humanitarian, that he never seeks appreciation for his acts.
You may not know, but the actor is associated with the Carol M. Baldwin Cancer Research Fund, HELP USA, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Jackson Memorial Foundation and several other charitable causes.
